Welcome to the official site for the City of Blytheville, Arkansas, where southern hospitality begins. Blytheville is located in northeastern Arkansas along Interstate 55 between St. Louis, Missouri and Memphis, Tennessee. Blytheville is in the heart of the Delta with soy beans, cotton and rice as the main farm crops. The chief industry in the area is steel, consisting of several steel mills producing a variety of products and many supporting satellite industries.
There are many cultural opportunities in Blytheville. The Arts Council of Mississippi County offers a variety of programs at the Ritz Civic Center throughout the year. There is also Act II, a local little theater group, as well as community choirs for all ages.
